We have accomplished a lot in Keego Harbor while I've been on your council - without any tax increases for operating expenses.
- Revitalized and repaved numerous local roads
- Refinanced our city hall bond debt, reducing monthly payments and increasing cash flow for vital services
- Restored Rose Sortor park for a fraction of the original quoted price
- Created a rental property ordinance to protect our home values
- Invested in police/public safety, while other cities have cut their police department, or are about to reduce it....
- Developed a long term financial plan, helping us strategize properly for our future
- Reorganized city administration, creating efficiencies
- Received praise from our auditor and S&P, earning a favorable, stable financial outlook for our city
- Awarded a grant of several thousand dollars from our insurance company to improve security to our DPW and city hall
- Setup shared services with neighboring municipalities and businesses to save us valuable time and cash
- Returned money to the city's fund balance each of the past 4 years
- Increased resident turnout for numerous city events
